Accessibility Statement

Ulvessa Stage aims to make information about its creative media services usable for people with a range of abilities, devices, and assistive technologies. Accessible design is an ongoing practice involving content, code, testing, and feedback. This statement describes intended practices and a way to report a barrier; it is not a certification that every page or third-party feature meets a specific conformance level.

The website includes text navigation, a responsive layout, descriptive image alternatives, visible focus treatment, and a form with labeled, required fields. These choices are intended to support keyboard and screen-reader use. Actual usability can vary with browser, device, installed theme components, and later edits.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines provide a common framework for evaluating perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust web content. We use that framework as a reference when reviewing the site. A claim of formal conformance would require a complete review of the published site, including Shopify theme elements, added apps, media, and all page templates.

Accessibility work should continue after launch. New content, a changed logo, an embedded player, or a third-party widget can introduce a barrier that was not present before. Editorial and technical review should be repeated when meaningful changes are made.

Navigation links use text labels and destinations. The project inquiry dialog is designed to open from a button, close from a labeled control or Escape key, and return focus to the opener. Its fields have visible labels and custom field validation. The completion message is displayed locally and does not send the inquiry to the studio.

If a mouse, keyboard, voice control, or assistive device cannot operate a feature, please describe the page, the feature, the device and browser if known, and the result you expected. Meaningful photographs should have alternative text that communicates their purpose in context. Decorative repetition should not add unnecessary narration. Layouts should adapt to smaller screens, and information should not depend solely on color. Text contrast, scaling, and focus visibility should be checked in the final published theme.

For video or audio published as part of a future project or website update, captions, transcripts, audio description, or another alternative may be appropriate depending on the content and intended audience. These needs should be considered when planning production rather than left until publication.

A Shopify theme, installed app, embedded media player, or other outside feature may be maintained by a different provider. We still want to know when an outside element prevents access to information on this site. We can review whether the feature can be configured, replaced, or supplemented with an accessible alternative.

Some older or newly added materials may require improvement. We do not want a visitor to be blocked from learning about a service or contacting the studio while an issue is investigated. If you need information in another format, describe what you need and a workable method of receiving it.

Send accessibility feedback using the details below. Include a description of the barrier and the URL or page title if possible; do not send sensitive personal information that is unrelated to the request. We will review the report and consider a practical response or alternative way to provide the information.

This statement will be revised when the website or accessibility practices materially change. The updated date identifies the version displayed. Feedback from people who use the site is an important part of identifying barriers that automated checks or internal review may miss.

A meaningful review should cover more than the homepage. Legal pages, the navigation menu, the inquiry dialog, error messages, and any installed theme or app features should be tried with a keyboard and at different text sizes. Automated tools can reveal some issues, while manual use can uncover reading-order, focus, labeling, and interaction problems that a scan misses.

The final Shopify configuration matters. A changed theme setting can affect contrast or spacing; a logo with text embedded in an image may need an appropriate alternative; and a new promotional video may need captions.
